DESCRIPTION
Honky Tonk (called "Honey" by his previous owner) was from a family with too many cats to care for, so he came here to find a new home! Though he doesn't look like much in the shelter while he's settling in, Honky Tonk was reportedly affectionate and loving-he was said to like to play with toys and be held on his terms as well. Honky Tonk is still working on gathering his confidence with us, but we've seen photos from home and are optimistic that he will turn into a lovely kitty for the person who takes the time to let him settle in.
Honky Tonk lived with lots of other cats and was described as playful and affectionate with them. He lived with dogs as well, but was said to be afraid of the dogs. Honky Tonk has not been with children. We would recommend slow, well-managed introductions after a separated period of decompression to set everyone up for success. We think Honky Tonk would enjoy other feline and human playmates after he's given space to adjust.
