Domestic Short Hair Cats Available for Adoption in Wheeling, Illinois

Meet Adora! This ADORAble explorer was very lucky to get to stay in a comfy foster home after she, her sister and mom were found outside. Here is what her foster mom has to say about her:

"She has been adventuring in her surroundings since she could crawl away from her mother. She is very active, loves to jump and wants most foods. She will eat shreds but prefers the dry, loaf, mousse and pate styles best. She is not very vocal, but she chews on everything. Cords have been wrapped or removed to protect her. Adora was eating the clay litter so we switched to an alternative type. Churro or any packaged stick treat is good for her.

They are all lovely cats and very smart, watching patterns and learning routines. They have loved playing with the SmartyCat toy, in their tent, three-way tunnel and climbing their cat tree. They will play and run, climb and adventure and like having options for places to sleep. They all prefer covered litter boxes and have been trained on Okocat Multicat litter, this brand and the grain size of the little has been good for them."

Adora is up-to-date on FVRCP vaccinations.

Adora has not been spayed yet but it is important to us that all of our animals are fixed and so we ask that you put down a $100 refundable deposit while we schedule a time for their surgery. We will schedule, transport, and ensure surgery and then refund you your deposit once completed.

Adora is currently staying onsite at our Heartland Facility! Stop by during our open hours on Thursday 4pm-7pm, Friday 4pm-7pm, Saturday Noon-6pm or Sunday Noon-6pm to meet them! No appointment necessary.
