Spice was aptly named because when she first arrived, she was all spice and no sugar. Terrified of her new surroundings, she greeted the world with spits, hisses, and a healthy dose of skepticism. While she has made incredible progress since those early days, Spice still believes caution is a perfectly reasonable approach to life.

This beautiful girl has slowly gained confidence, especially with the help of her beloved foster brother, Oreo. The two share a special bond, and Spice follows him everywhere like a tiny shadow. If Oreo decides something is safe, Spice is much more likely to give it a chance. She enjoys playing with her sister Autumn, but she seems especially impressed by Oreo's careful, risk-averse approach to new situations.

Now that she's settled in, Spice confidently explores her surroundings, plays with her siblings, and enjoys all the adventures kittenhood has to offer. She's still very skittish around people and is quick to swat when she's feeling unsure, but every day brings small victories as she learns that humans might not be so scary after all.

Spice is looking for a patient, understanding family that will let her build trust at her own pace. The best way to her heart may just be through a confident feline friend like Oreo, who can show her the ropes and reassure her that the world is a safe place. With time, love, and a little encouragement, we believe this spicy girl has all the ingredients to become a wonderful companion.

Adoption Information

Prior to adoption, every cat in our care is spayed or neutered, microchipped, given age-appropriate vaccinations, treated for parasites, and combo-tested for FIV/FeLV. We make sure each cat is healthy, safe, and ready to thrive in their forever home.

Kittens (under 6 months): $175
Adults (over 6 months): $150
Seniors / Special Needs: $100

We cannot hold cats for any reason. Please only apply if you're ready to meet and welcome your new companion within 3 days of applying.
Kittens under 4 months must go to a home with another friendly feline, or be adopted with a buddy. (If a kitten is excluded from this rule, it will be noted in their profile.)
