Dutchess Whitney - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Wheaton, Illinois

Dutchess Whitney is a stunning four year old white girl who struggled with the busy shelter environment. She was very scared at first, and it was clear that all the noise and activity were overwhelming for a sensitive kitty like her.

Everything changed when she moved into foster care. With quiet, routine, and gentle people around her, Dutchess Whitney has blossomed into a friendly, outgoing sweetheart. She enjoys attention, loves to play, and is a big fan of lap sitting and cuddling. Her foster says she has a soft, affectionate nature that shines brighter every day.

She also has her friend Ms. Fluffy Face nearby. The two girls enjoy each other's company and find comfort in having a familiar friend close. They would be happy to be adopted together, but they do not need to be. Each one is perfectly capable of thriving on her own.

Dutchess Whitney is looking for a patient, loving home where she can continue to feel safe and learn that she is truly loved. With understanding and consistency, she will keep growing in confidence and show even more of her sweet personality.

Both Dutchess Whitney and Ms. Fluffy Face are front paw declawed, so they will need to remain indoor only pets where they can feel secure.

If you are looking for a gentle, affectionate girl who just needed a chance to feel safe, Dutchess Whitney may be the perfect match.
