Born third in the litter and the very first girl, America is a strikingly beautiful calico with a gentle heart and soulful eyes. While some of her siblings charged into every new adventure, America has always preferred to take things a little slower and make sure the coast is clear first. She loves to perch up high and watch the action.

As her siblings grew up, made weight, and headed off to their forever homes, it became obvious just how much America loved having her family around. These days, she's especially devoted to her brother Firecracker. The two are deeply bonded and look to each other for comfort, confidence, and companionship.

America can be nervous around unfamiliar cats and isn't afraid to voice her opinion with a hiss or two when meeting someone new. At kitten yoga, while other kittens explored the room, America chose the safer option and spent much of her time curled up in people's laps. Though cautious with new situations, she's very people-friendly once she feels secure.

Because unfamiliar cats can be overwhelming for her, America would do best in a home with just her beloved brother Firecracker. Together, they bring out the best in each other and are looking for a forever home where they can stay side by side.

Adoption Information

Prior to adoption, every cat in our care is spayed or neutered, microchipped, given age-appropriate vaccinations, treated for parasites, and combo-tested for FIV/FeLV. We make sure each cat is healthy, safe, and ready to thrive in their forever home.

Adoption Fees



Kittens (under 6 months): $175 or 2 for $300


Adults (over 6 months): $150


Seniors (10+) / Special Needs: $100

We cannot hold cats for any reason. Please only apply if you're ready to meet and welcome your new companion within 3 days of applying.


Kittens under 4 months must go to a home with another friendly feline, or be adopted with a buddy. (If a kitten is excluded from this rule, it will be noted in their profile.)
