Nona has been with us since October. Why did it take us so long to post Nona? Excellent question. Mostly because every photo attempt turns into either a blurry cryptid sighting, a look of absolute annoyance directed toward the camera person, or a good old slap of the phone attempting to take said picture.



Nona is not what you'd call “people-focused.” She's not dreaming of being carried around like a baby. She's not applying for the position of Professional Lap Cat. Frankly, she thinks everyone should calm down a little.



What does Nona enjoy? Food. Other cats. Existing peacefully without unnecessary involvement from management. She LOVES cuddling with fellow kitties and has perfected the art of freeloading while contributing nothing except cuteness and vague emotional support? If that's even what we want to call it.



She's the kind of cat for someone who appreciates cats for being... cats. Independent, weird, mildly judgmental, and entirely unconcerned with human expectations. Honestly, she'd probably thrive in a quieter home with another cat companion and people who understand that love doesn't always look like cuddles. She's cute. Her primary hobby is avoiding responsibility and people. Someone please give her a home so she doesn't disappear into our vents again (yes. that happened.)
