Jinx has always been the quiet one.

When FIP hit, Jinx took it hard. Daily medications became part of her life before she had even fully learned that people could be trusted. Being handled every single day was scary for her. Stressful. Unfair. There were moments where it felt impossible to explain to this shy little cat that everyone touching her was only trying to save her life.

But she did it. She survived it. And somewhere along the way, something changed.

Jinx learned that hands are not always scary things. Sometimes hands bring comfort. Sometimes they bring safety. Sometimes they bring the exact butt scratches she now dramatically lifts herself for the second you touch her lower back. And that trust? It means everything coming from a cat like her.

Jinx is still a reserved girl. She isn't the life of the party, and she likely never will be. Loud homes and tiny chaotic humans probably aren't her style. She would thrive in a quieter environment with people who understand that the best relationships with cats are often the ones built slowly.

Jinx and her brother Silco have been some of the most remarkable cats to ever come through my foster home, they changed so much, grew so much, and they are ready to finally settle into a home and be loved forever.
