Banjo - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in West Mifflin, Pennsylvania

Banjo arrived from a colony with a very clear message for the humans around him: “No thank you. I will be needing you to leave me alone.” Seriously. At first, he was having absolutely NONE of this indoor-cat business. No immediate affection. No interest in making friends. Just a handsome guy who had some of us pretty convinced that his future belonged back outside with the colony he came from. Keeping another “please don't touch me” cat when we already have a whole collection of tough cookies nobody is lining up to adopt, was not on the agenda.

But then... Banjo reconsidered. Or maybe I caught him on an off day originally, because THIS GUY?! He is now all “hello, have you considered making me the center of your entire life?” Personal space? This has deleted from his dictionary. Nose kisses? Oh, you WILL be getting them. Pets? All of them please, and thanks. Purring? Constantly. Rubbing all over you is this dude's thing.

We're very glad Banjo changed his mind about people. He is sweet, affectionate, ridiculously handsome, and apparently has decided that being someone's best friend will be a fantastic gig to land. He may have started life as a colony cat, but has discovered his true calling: professional house cat. Banjo is ready to strum his way into your heart. And based on his track record here, he's VERY good at it.
