Meet Kai!

Kai is an 8–9 month old tabby boy with a big personality tucked inside a shy little shell. He’s incredibly adorable, a little goofy, and full of silly energy that will keep you smiling every day.

At first, Kai can be quite the scaredy cat. New noises, sudden movements, or unfamiliar people will have him running to find a safe hiding spot. But with patience and a calm environment, he slowly starts to come out of his shell and that’s when you get to see just how sweet he really is.

Once he feels comfortable, Kai loves being near his person. He’ll quietly hang out beside you and may even ask for pets, though he prefers them in small doses. Too much affection at once can overwhelm him, but when he chooses those little moments of connection, they feel extra special.

Kai’s favorite thing in the world is food. He is very food motivated and absolutely loves treats, especially Churu. It’s a great way to bond with him and build his confidence. And when it comes to playtime, Kai truly shines. He loves to play and can keep himself entertained for hours with his endless energy and goofy antics. Watching him chase toys and pounce around is when you really see his fun, carefree side.

Kai would do best in a patient, understanding home where he can take his time learning to trust. In return, you’ll get a gentle, loyal companion who will grow more affectionate as he feels safe and loved.

Kai also has a sister, Nube, and they can be adopted together or separately depending on what’s best for their future home.
