Gustavo is an approximately 1-year-old domestic shorthair with a gentle, trusting heart. He was the first in his family to embrace foster life, showing just how brave and open he is despite all the changes around him.

Gustavo may not be a full-on cuddle bug (at least not yet), but he has his own sweet ways of showing affection. He loves to stay close to his people and will greet you with soft head bumps, quietly reminding you he’s there and that he cares. He’s the kind of cat who forms a steady, comforting bond.

He also has a curious side and enjoys observing his surroundings, always interested in what’s going on around him while still maintaining his calm, easygoing nature. Gustavo tends to be more on the submissive side with other cats, making him a great companion in the right feline household.

Gustavo shares a special bond with Athena, and we’d love to see them adopted together if possible—but it’s not a requirement. As long as he has a loving, patient home, he’s sure to continue blossoming.
