Meet Benjamin, Benny, or Benson!

This sweet, approximately 2-year-old domestic short-haired tabby is looking for his forever home after a rough few months. Benny has been in foster care since the beginning of July and is slowly learning what it's like to be safe, comfortable, and loved. He's a little shy when first meeting new people, but his curiosity quickly starts to shine through, and before long you'll find him quietly exploring his surroundings.

Benny is an easygoing boy who has excellent litter box habits, stays well hydrated, and enjoys his crunchy food. It's clear he's still adjusting to life indoors, and he's making progress every day. One of his favorite places to relax is tucked away in a closet, so a cozy hideaway or little cave of his own would make him very happy.

He would do best as the only cat in the home or with one very calm, mild-mannered feline companion. Benny can be a bit nervous around dogs at first, but with patience and time, he may learn to feel more comfortable around them. Above all, he needs a family willing to let him settle in at his own pace and show him the kindness he deserves.

Benny will be receiving his microchip and second round of dewormer soon, which means he'll be eligible for adoption very shortly.
