Carney - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Urbandale, Iowa

Carney is a handsome ginger and white boy with a sweet, gentle soul. Born around August 9, 2026, he's a little more reserved than his brothers (Whistler & Swisher) and is looking for someone who understands that the best relationships sometimes take a little time to grow.

Carney is still shy, but he's making progress every day. Give him a little distraction with a favorite toy and he'll let his foster mom pet him. And he's discovered that Churu treats are pretty irresistible--he'll even sit on a lap to enjoy one!

Once Carney trusts you, we think his sweet personality will continue to blossom. He just needs a patient person willing to let him build confidence at his own pace.

Carney does not like dogs, so he would do best in a calm home. If there are other cats in the home, slow, careful introductions will be important.

If you'd like to meet Carney, please complete our online adoption application here:
