LuLu lived at our local HyVee dumpster for about 10 months or so. All the while, we fed her and her family and friends at the dumpster. Getting them through the winter and keeping them well fed.
As spring arrived, it became obvious that LuLu was pregnant. We began trying to trap her and after a few tries, we got her. We took her to the vet to try to determine how far along she was. They said she had about 2 weeks to go. 2 days later she had a litter of 6 kittens. Surprise.
From the moment we caught her, as a truly feral kitty, she was gentle, even when she was extremely nervous and afraid of us. It didn't take long for her to begin to warm up to us. Now we can hold her and pet her, and even give her gentle belly rubs.
LuLu to love to be adopted with one of her precious babies, including Phoebe, Queso and foster babies, Lucky, Skittles, Pancakes and her newest foster baby Dahlia.
This gorgeous diluted calico kitty will make a great pet for someone who want a quiet kitty, who doesn't get into trouble, etc. She's very gentle and quiet.
Her adoption fee is $40 or 2 for $50, or 3 for $60 if adopted with any of the kittens.
