Buttercup is estimated to be just under one year old, and she has the most precious personality! She absolutely LOVES attention, enjoys being petted, and wants nothing more than to be close to her people. She’s a true lap kitty who will happily curl up with you and soak up all the love you’re willing to give. And if you enjoy a kitty who likes to chat, you’re going to adore Buttercup! This little girl loves to talk, and it’s just the cutest thing!

Buttercup’s story is a heartbreaking one. She was found as a stray with her four tiny kittens, and the saddest part is that she’s practically still a kitten herself. This sweet little girl was trying to survive and care for four babies when she was barely more than a baby herself.

Thankfully, those days are behind her! Her four kittens are still growing and aren’t quite ready for adoption, but Buttercup is ready for her very own forever home! It’s finally her turn to be loved, spoiled, and cared for.

She’s currently in a foster home with her little kitten friend Daisy and several other cats. She could even be adopted with Daisy or one of her other foster friends if you’re looking for two!

After everything this precious girl has been through, she deserves nothing but the very best. A warm lap, a loving family, and a home where she’ll never have to worry about surviving on the streets again.

Buttercup has spent enough time being a mama. Now it’s her turn to be somebody’s baby!

Paws of Dixie Animal Rescue adopts in the New England area. Our adoption fee includes the spay/neuter, up to date shots, Microchip, Alabama Health Certificate, and the transport service to get the new family pet to you.

The pets are delivered by a licensed transporter.

Please be advised that our volunteers are busy rescuing, transporting, and caring for our animals. We will respond to your application as soon as possible. Upon review of your application, the rescue in AL will contact you, so you can ask any specific questions that you may have.

NOTE: All Paws of Dixie animals are located in AL foster homes. They will be transported north after adoption.

If there is more than one decision maker in the home, all of them should be in agreement.
