Some kittens charge into the world without a second thought. Toast prefers to watch, learn, and decide who deserves her trust, and when she does, there is something incredibly special about being chosen by her.

Toast is the gentle soul of the Breakfast Club. She is thoughtful, curious, playful, and a little more sensitive than her siblings. She likes to take new things at her own pace, but underneath that cautious exterior is a sweet little girl who is becoming more confident every day.
And don't let her quiet nature fool you: Toast LOVES to play.

In fact, she may secretly be the Breakfast Club's biggest toy collector. She loves just about every toy she meets and has a habit of gathering her favorites around her chosen sleeping spot until she's created her own little treasure pile. Wand toys are especially irresistible, and once she gets going, this seemingly reserved little kitten will launch herself into the air and perform some truly impressive acrobatics.

Toast is also incredibly curious about her humans. She may not always want to be the center of attention, but she wants to know what you're doing. She'll quietly follow her foster mom around with her enormous owl eyes, observing everything and keeping tabs on the household.

As she has learned that people can be trusted, her soft and affectionate side has started to emerge. Toast isn't the kitten who gives her trust away immediately, and that's part of what makes earning it so meaningful. She is a gentle girl who will thrive with someone patient enough to let the relationship develop naturally and enjoy watching her blossom.

Her greatest source of confidence is her family. Toast absolutely adores her mama, Ms. Poppyseed Bagel, and being near her helps Toast feel safe and secure. Their bond is incredibly sweet, and our dream would be to see this mother-daughter pair adopted together. Toast is also very close with her fearless sister Egg, whose outgoing personality makes her another wonderful companion for her.

Give her time. Give her kindness. Give her a pile of toys. Toast will take care of the rest.

Toast is about 4 months old as of August 2026. She is fully vetted, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, up to date on her vaccines, and tested negative for FIV and FeLV.
