Oatmeal is the tiniest member of the Breakfast Club, and the little girl who inspired the whole theme. When her foster mom was searching for the perfect name, Oatmeal would sit quietly and look up at her with those enormous, soulful eyes and the sweetest little face. Something about her felt soft, warm, and comforting—just like a bowl of oatmeal. And with that, Oatmeal got her name, and the Breakfast Club was born. nd the name fits her in more ways than one. Oatmeal is a gentle, lovely little soul—sweet, affectionate, and happiest when she feels safe with the people and kittens she loves. She may take a little longer than her bolder siblings to show you that side of herself, but watching her trust grow and her affectionate personality come through makes her incredibly special.
Oatmeal is a sweet, silly, slightly more reserved little girl who likes to observe the situation before deciding whether it deserves her participation. But don't mistake that thoughtful little face for seriousness. Oatmeal is ridiculous.
She loves wrestling with her siblings and has developed a very effective strategy: tackle sibling, immediately regret decision when sibling tackles back, complain dramatically, get released... and then immediately tackle the exact same sibling again. Lessons have been offered. Oatmeal has declined them.
When she's not starting wrestling matches she can't finish, Oatmeal is usually playing soccer. Her absolute favorite toys are small hard balls, especially ping-pong balls. She'll chase them across the floor, grab them with both paws, fling them behind herself, chase them again, and happily conduct an entire championship match with absolutely no assistance. She is also an accomplished Croc hunter. No Croc is safe.
Oatmeal takes a little more time than some of her siblings to decide that something new is safe, but her curiosity always starts winning. Once the room gets quiet, she'll wander over to investigate what her foster mom is doing, gaze up with those enormous Oatmeal eyes, and even make herself comfortable on a blanket-covered lap. She's learning more every day that being close to people can actually be pretty wonderful.
Oatmeal absolutely adores her siblings, and we would especially love to see her adopted with Egg. Egg is the bravest, most outgoing member of the Breakfast Club, while Oatmeal likes to take things at her own pace. Their personalities complement each other beautifully: Egg can confidently lead the next adventure, and Oatmeal can follow along once she's completed the necessary risk assessment.
Because Oatmeal is a kitten, she must be adopted with one of his siblings, preferably Egg who is his favorite sister, or into a home with a young, playful resident cat. Here is some information about why we have this policy:

Oatmeal is about 4 months old as of August 2026. She is fully vetted, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, up to date on her vaccines, and tested negative for FIV and FeLV.
