Meet Timmy
A resilient, loyal companion looking for his forever home.
Timmy is seeking a patient, experienced cat owner who will give him the time and understanding he deserves -someone who sees past his initial defenses and allows him to settle in at his own pace. In return, you'll find a kitto who is a great combination of independence, attention-seeking, companionship, and playfulness. Timmy will need to be in a home with no other pets.
Could this be your home? Please read on...
Timmy was born indoors on a farm but, when he didn't get along with their cat, he was given into the care of TC Paw.
He was adopted soon after but, due to an incompatible relationship with their dog, he was returned. Timmy then came to be fostered by me. I've now had him for two months. Watching his transformation has been incredibly rewarding.
When he first arrived, Timmy was grumpy, feisty, and very protective of his personal space. He didn't like hands approaching him from the front and made his boundaries very clear. He could swat, scratch, or soft bite if he felt uncomfortable. With patience, consistency, and respect, however, everything slowly changed.
As Timmy began to feel safe, those aggressive defenses started to melt away-and they continue to do so every single day. Now, Timmy sleeps in bed with me every night, follows me from room to room, and keeps me company while I work-often curled up right on my desk.
He loves interactive play, especially string toys and chasing a laser pointer. A few times a day, when he's bored, he'll gently tap your knee to say, "Hey, it's playtime." With a laser pointer, the whole house becomes a racetrack! Daily play will be a delight with this boy.
Timmy is independent but checks-in with you frequently throughout the day. He enjoys affection on his terms-head, ears, and chin scratches are his favorites. While he can be picked up, he prefers to have four paws on the ground. For someone experienced with cats, Timmy's signals are easy to read. At just two years old, Timmy is healthy, energetic, and has a normal appetite. I believe Timmy would be best placed in a home with no other pets. A quieter home with no children is preferred.
Timmy needs a forever home to settle into and enjoy life. In return, you'll gain a deeply loyal and fun companion.
