It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s a cat named Raven!
Raven is the complete “supercat” package: beauty, sweetness, and intelligence, all wrapped in a graceful body with stunning green eyes. She’s a resilient girl with plenty of street smarts, having overcome life as stray, pregnancy, motherhood, and medical issues. Raven’s thriving in foster care these days, but she’s ready to take flight in search of her forever home.
ABOUT RAVEN
- In foster
- Raven may be shy initially in a new environment, but with Churu tube treats and a bit of space, she’ll soon warm up.
- Once she settles in, she’s a loving, affectionate, gentle, and devoted companion.
- Raven LOVES being pet! She’ll come to you for pets and rub her head and body against your hands. Once the petting starts, so do the purrs. She is a purr machine!
- She loves head scratches too, on her forehead, cheeks, and chin.
- Raven enjoys following her foster mom around the house, settling down beside her on the couch or the bed in quiet moments.
- Though not a true lap cat, Raven will snuggle up to her foster mom with her front paws resting on her. She also has the cutest habit of licking her foster mom’s fingers and face.
- She has an adorable mischievous side too, when she chases her humans’ feet under the duvet cover or tries to find them on the other side of a closed door by sliding her paws underneath.
- Raven has a rare congenital heart condition that is expected to significantly shorten her life expectancy. Currently, she is stable and her condition is managed by daily medication, which she takes with ease.
- Raven is an active, energetic cat; however, it’s best that she does not become too overstimulated with play.
- She happily entertains herself with a variety of toys, especially spring toys.
- Raven is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and has received core vaccinations.
RAVEN’S IDEAL HOME
- Raven will benefit from a quiet, calm home.
- She has experience living with other cats and could either go to home with a feline companion or reign supreme as the only cat in the household.
- We are uncertain how she would fare with dogs or other pets.
- Raven will require daily medication for life and her forever family will need to monitor her carefully for any changes. She will need regular veterinary care for routine assessment of her heart health.
