Far from the Norwegian fjords, our Haaland was found wandering the streets of Hamilton before being welcomed into the EHS family. This ginger kitten spent time in a loving foster home, learning that humans can be trusted, prior to coming to the shelter for socialization.

ABOUT HAALAND
- At shelter
- Haaland was described as a sweet, purry rascal by his foster mom.
- He can be easily spooked, but becomes cuddly with love and patience.
- Haaland has a mute meow, but clearly expresses his feelings with his entire face. To compensate, he purrs extremely loudly.
- He thinks hands are solely meant for petting; he'll come to your hand and pet himself if you don't get to him first.
- Kittens have lots of energy, and Haaland is no exception.
- He is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and is up to date on core vaccinations.

HAALANDS IDEAL HOME
- While in foster, Haaland very much enjoyed the company of the resident cat.
- It is important that Haaland either go to a home where there is already a feline-friendly cat in residence, or be adopted with another compatible EHS cat.
- Kittens require ample and mindful stimulation, through play from their humans.
