DESCRIPTION
Welcome Aidan, the melter of hearts!
Aidan traveled from an overcrowded municipal shelter to find his temporary home with EHS. He was described as not liking his cage, but he certainly hasn’t complained about his new one! He just wanted more room to explore and some gentle affection, which is exactly what he’s searching for in a forever home!
ABOUT AIDAN
- At shelter
- Our volunteers describe Aidan as a “gentle giant.”
- He likes pets from the back-scratcher around his cheeks and on the top of his head. He will even roll around to get more!
- Aidan appreciates pets by hand as well, once he’s comfortable.
- Volunteers have also discovered that he enjoys catnip toys; this gentleman loves discovering new things!
- Aidan has FIV, which is a virus that weakens the immune system of a cat, but it is not transmissible to humans or other species.
- A cat with FIV may be overlooked, but with routine vet care and a loving home, cats who have FIV can live a long, healthy life.
- Aidan is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and is up to date on core vaccinations.
AIDAN’S IDEAL HOME
- We don’t know if Aidan likes other cats or pets, so for now he should be the only pet in the home.
- We are unsure how Aidan would do with young children.
- Aidan does not require any medication, but vet checkups twice a year are recommended.
Did you know the name Aidan means “little fire”? Aidan wants you to know that he would love to light up your life, so fill out an application to adopt him today!
