Brutus is a special boy who has a lot of love to give. He enjoys quiet home with quiet people, where he can lounge the day away. Brutus would do best with an adult only family as children are a bit rambunctious for his liking. As he has gotten older, Brutus has preferred to be the only pet in the home, as other animals, especially dogs, tend to stress him out. Brutus loves to show off his affectionate side and makes friends easily. He adores pats and scratches, and will make biscuits on his comfy blanket. Brutus still enjoys playing with interactive toys and loves indulging in catnip from time to time. Our staff and volunteers have already fallen head-over-heels in love with this sweet man, and we are excited to see him off into his new home.

Brutus is currently on a special prescription diet for bladder health. This food mixed with a calm environment will certainly help him maintain a healthy lifestyle. Brutus also has a heart murmur. While we do not know what is causing this, he is not showing any symptoms that are concerning and we would recommend your vet take an extra listen each year to ensure nothing changes.
