Forest, Fern, Moss - Parakeet Bird for Adoption in Swanzey, New Hampshire

Fern and Forest are a mated pair, and flock mates with Moss. They are a bit shy and have been working on desensitization and socialization with staff and volunteers. They are food and treat motivated but have not yet gotten to the point of being hand tame. With time and patience these three will make great companion birds.

With mated pairs, there is always the possibility of nesting and egg laying. So being vigilant to mating/nesting behavior is important for not only their health, but to prevent the possibility of any surprise eggs hatching.
