Chess came to us as a stray and, sadly, was never reclaimed. She can be a little nervous when meeting new people, but treats and food are definitely the way to this girl's heart!
Chess has adjusted well to life indoors, although she's still not quite sure what to think about those suspicious ceiling fans! She isn't a huge fan of being held and will only tolerate it for a short time. She would much rather curl up beside you on the couch and enjoy your company on her own terms.
Chess loves other cats and would do well in a home with playful feline friends. She also loves small stuffed toys that she can carry around with her! Because Chess is a timid girl who can be easily overwhelmed, she would do best in a home without small children where she can settle in at her own pace.
Chess is fully vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped.
If you have a comfy spot on the couch, a few tasty treats, and maybe a playful cat friend waiting at home, Chess just might be your girl!
All adopted cats spayed/neutered through ECHS will be eartipped.
