Meet Bonsai!

Bonsai is a handsome 4-month-old German Shepherd mix with a big personality and plenty of puppy energy! He's a playful, affectionate boy who loves toys, getting lots of attention, and even watching Bluey. He also loves going for car rides, so he'd make a fun little adventure buddy for his future family!
Bonsai does well with other dogs. He is unknown with cats and children, so slow, supervised introductions would be best as he gets to know his new family and surroundings.
When Bonsai first meets someone new, he can be a little shy and may take a minute to warm up. Once he feels comfortable, though, he loves attention and is happy to soak up all the love you're willing to give him.
Like many young puppies, Bonsai is still learning how to be the best dog he can be. He does show some food guarding, so his adopter will need to be willing to work with him patiently and consistently on positive training and appropriate mealtime manners. He has lots of energy and will need a family who has the time and commitment to provide him with exercise, training, playtime, and plenty of mental stimulation.
Bonsai is still just a baby with so much potential. With continued training, structure, patience, and lots of love, this handsome boy is sure to grow into an amazing companion. He has received 2 of 3 DHPP vaccines, a microchip and is scheduled to get neutered on 9/18.
