Meet Sprite
Sprite's story began in a colony in Farmville, where caring TNR volunteers recognized that he deserved more than life outdoors. Since coming into foster care, he has been on a journey of learning that humans can be trusted-and while he's still figuring that out, he's come an incredibly long way.
Around 9 months old, Sprite is a sensitive, thoughtful boy who likes to take his time getting comfortable in new situations. He and his brother, Junior, are still learning that people are safe, so Sprite will need a patient adopter who understands that trust is earned, not rushed. The best moments with cats like Sprite are the ones you work for, and watching him gain confidence has been incredibly rewarding.
As he's settled into foster care, Sprite has started letting his personality shine. He's discovered that treats are pretty great, that people aren't so bad, and that life indoors is much more comfortable than life outside. Every day brings a little more confidence and a little more curiosity.
Sprite and Junior can be adopted together or separately. If Sprite is adopted on his own, he will need another friendly, confident cat in the home to help him continue building trust and adjusting to family life. He can also live with a calm, cat-savvy dog that will respect his space and allow him to settle in at his own pace.
Sprite is looking for a home that will see his potential and give him the time he needs to fully bloom. With patience, understanding, and love, this handsome boy will continue proving just how far he's come.
