Meet Junior
Junior's journey started in a colony in Farmville, where dedicated TNR volunteers noticed that he and his brother, Sprite, didn't quite belong outdoors. Given a chance to enter foster care, Junior has been slowly learning that life with humans can be safe, comfortable, and full of good things.
At around 9 months old, Junior is still building his confidence. He and his brother have made incredible progress, but they're both continuing to learn that people are okay. Because of this, Junior is looking for a patient, understanding adopter who will let him move at his own pace and celebrate the small victories along the way.
While he may be shy at first, Junior has a sweet side that shines through once he feels comfortable. He enjoys treats, has started accepting affection, and is discovering that being part of a family isn't so scary after all.
Junior and Sprite can be adopted together or separately. If adopted separately, Junior will need a home with another friendly, confident cat to help him continue learning and adjusting. He would also do well with a calm, cat-savvy dog that understands feline boundaries and won't overwhelm him.
Junior isn't looking for perfection-just someone willing to give him time, patience, and love. In return, you'll get the privilege of watching a once-unsure kitten grow into the cat he was always meant to be.
