Bruiser is a 5-year-old grey tabby with striking good looks and beautifully defined features that make him hard to miss. This handsome boy came from a home with children, so he's familiar with family life-but the transition to the shelter has been a big change for him.

Right now, Bruiser is still adjusting to his new surroundings. He's a bit unsure and isn't quite ready for pets or close attention just yet. What he really needs is a calm environment, along with time, patience, and understanding as he rebuilds his confidence.

With the right person willing to let him settle in at his own pace, Bruiser has the potential to truly thrive again in a home. He's available for foster or adoption at the Animal Protective League, located at 1001 Taintor Road in Springfield. We are open every day from noon to 5 p.m.
