Kate is a gentle 9-year-old brown tabby with a calm spirit and a heart full of quiet love. This sweet girl is the definition of easygoing, happiest when she's in a peaceful space where she can simply relax and feel safe.
Kate is a soft, affectionate companion who enjoys attention in a mellow, unhurried way. She doesn't ask for much - just a cozy spot to curl up in, a warm home, and someone kind to share her days with. In return, she offers steady companionship and a comforting presence that makes any house feel more like home.
She has FIV, which means she has a weaker immune system than most cats. FIV cats can live a long, happy life, but should not go to a home with FIV-negative cats.

She's available for foster or adoption at the Animal Protective League, located at 1001 Taintor Road in Springfield. We are open every day from noon to 5 p.m.
