I'm not here to fit in, I stand out!
Hi, I'm Suntiger Spider
Born March 4th, which makes me a tiny spring Pisces.
Emotional? Yes. Dramatic? Also yes.
I'm not orange like my name — I'm solid black. A little void baby. But check my feet: I've got tarantula toes. White tips on black paws. But the rescue thought naming me tarantula was going to turn people off, why in the world????

They say I had “single kitten syndrome.” They say having other cats around has helped with that, and sure, though I really really really love my people.
I was on my own for quite a while when I was younger so my siblings weren't around to teach me manners, so I invented my own:
Step 1: Kiss your face like you're the best thing ever.
Step 2: A little nip on your lip like you really deserved it.
It's called love. Look it up.
Now they also claim that I need extra mushy food... turns out dry doesn't sit well and I gave foster mom and the vets a run for their money trying to figure out why I was spitting up my food... so now they tend to like to have me eat out of an elevated bowl and insist I go slowly. They've fallen under my evil spell as they now hold me close upright to help me swallow Love the extra cuddles!
But let's get back to some of my exceptional qualities...
My resume:
- Professional shoulder cat. Head cat. Your personal hat.
- Glasses inspector — I will swat-test them for safety.
- Purr machine with no off switch. Even mid-crimes.
- Born in March, so I came in like a lion and I'm staying that way
- Tarantula toes certified for maximum toe-bean booping
What I need:
A human who laughs when I throw myself into their arms, who loves to have a kitty draped around their neck.
Someone who gets that kisses + light teeth = my love language.
Or better? A cat buddy to teach me that humans aren't chew toys. I'm even good with dogs, I mean they may not want me to play with their tails but I love it. Probably best to keep me from young children though I'd find them tasty.
I'm small, but my purrsonality needs its own zip code.
Adopt me and I'll cling to you like webbing.

*** As a general rule, we recommend having another cat is the best, though some may be okay with a gentle dog. But Suntiger also truly LOVES people.
*** All of our adoptable animals are cared for and assessed in foster homes (we do not have a shelter), up to date on age appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed or neutered and tested for FeLV/FIV, before they are adopted. They have had de-worming medication as a standard of care and Flea/Tick/Ear Mite preventive treatment. Medical records will be released with the adopted pet. Suntiger had a multiple series of exploratory procedures and treatments to check there weren't worse underlying issues and ruled out all the bad stuff. She's our riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma... or your basic rescue conundrum who needs a loving forever home.
