Bluth Family: Baby Buster - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption

BLUTH FAMILY: BABY BUSTER

Domestic Short Hair
September 4th
male, small, baby

DESCRIPTION

Buster, the baby of the family, can be afraid sometimes. His blue eyes get huge and his whole body gets fluffed when things are a little scary. But the rest of the time, when they aren't, Buster goes 2,000 miles an hour. His favorite activities include climbing the shower curtain, diving off the sink into the water bowl, and starting wrestling matches with sleeping siblings.

Buster loves to start trouble with Lucille, and then just lays there and takes her punishments. He will be the reason that every cat is wrestling. He will climb up somewhere high so that he can wait for a chance to jump on someone down below. He was the first kitten to climb my shoulder, nuzzle into his foster's neck, and start purring in her ear. She can grab Buster, wrap him up in her arms, and pet him and kiss his head and he will be purring happily away. G yeah uess it's no surprise that Buster loves to be mothered. He's very pale and can sunburn easily, so Lucille does not want him going into the sun. He is also not allowed to go swimming at the beach. Or out anywhere. But oh do we love babying him.

As a general rule, we recommend that young kittens only go in pairs or to households that already have another pet. Young kittens on their own, no matter how much attention they get from humans, usually get bored and tend to be more destructive. They need another animal to help socialize them (to learn how to appropriately wrestle, boundaries, etc). Most times having another cat is the best, though some may be okay with a gentle dog.

All of our adoptable animals are cared for and assessed in foster homes (we do not have a shelter), up to date on age appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed or neutered and tested for FeLV/FIV, before they are adopted. They have had de-worming medication as a standard of care and Flea/Tick/Ear Mite preventive treatment. Medical records will be released with the adopted pet.
