Little Raisin was recently brought into rescue. She is affectionate, beautiful and absolutely hilarious. She will keep you entertained with her antics, making her a perfect, funny companion for the right person. If you are looking for a funny, feisty, and affectionate companion to keep you laughing and warm your heart, Raisin is your girl.
Raisin showed up on a porch, very skinny and letting everyone know she was hungry and demanded that they feed her! The homeowner was concerned - turned out that she was simply just a very vocal little girl, common with Tortie's. While Raisin does embody some of the famous "tortitude" (tortoiseshell attitude), it's not over the top. I have one of those cats too, so I know of what I speak.
Raisin is very food focused, her initial meals were accompanied by lots of funny and enthusiastic grumbling. Though she is no longer starving, she isn't shy about letting us know she is hungry.
Raisin is doing great in her foster home. She ignores the dogs in the home, once she got used to them. We believe she will thrive in a home with laid back feline companions or as an only cat. There are no children in the foster home and we think she would do best in an adult only home.
Raisin was spayed, is FIV/FeLV negative, received both flea and worm meds. She is approximately 9 months old and on the small side. She is being fostered in Cleveland Heights, Ohio.
We'll have more photos & videos to share soon.
Please note: You must be at least 22 years old to adopt. We have a strict indoor cat only policy. The adopter must agree to a screening process that includes an easy application, phone call, and an adoption agreement.
Our goal is to find the best match for our cats and their new families so that everyone lives happily ever after. Post-adoption, we are here if you have questions. Of course, we hope everything works out, but we understand that sometimes the cat may not be a good fit. We will support you through any decision to return your pet to us if it doesn't work out and will take them back into our foster program - no worries.
Please email us at fosterparentsforpooches@gmail.com. We typically respond within 24 - 48 hours. Please be patient, we have full-time jobs and are busy with other rescue matters. Thank you!
Please let us know if you have any questions! Thanks for reading!
