Mocha is a beautiful brown and black tabby female kitten who is looking for a patient family to help her feel safe and let her true personality shine. Mocha is a shy girl who takes time to adjust to new faces and places. While she may always be a bit scared of strangers, she blossoms beautifully once she feels secure. As she gets more comfortable in her new home, she will make a truly wonderful and loyal companion. Once she warms up she transforms into an incredibly sweet girl who loves attention and will happily soak up all the love and gentle chin scratches you can give. Right now, she does not enjoy being held, but this may change as she learns to feel completely safe and secure with her new family. When first arriving at her new home, the best setup for Mocha will be a smaller, quiet room (like a bedroom or bathroom). This gives her a safe space where she won't feel overwhelmed, but keeps her accessible so her new owner can easily sit with her and pet her to build trust. Her ideal home is a low-key, predictable home where she can explore and adjust entirely at her own pace. Her ideal adopter is someone who understands that her circle of trust is small but deeply rewarding to be a part of. When she is feeling confident she is very playful and loves wand toys with all types of attachments (feathers, small stuffed animals).

All of our cats are spayed/neutered, dewormed, flea-treated, microchipped, and have had all age appropriate vaccinations. Adoption fees are $125 for cats over 1 year old or $200 for 2 adults. Kittens under 1 year old are $150 or 2 kittens for $225. The fee for 1 adult and 1 kitten adopted together is $200.
