Meet Delilah & Ryan Junior! They were both under 8 weeks of age when they arrived to the Shelter so a wonderful foster took them in to help them get big and strong to prepare for adoption! Delilah and Ryan Jr. are back at the Shelter and ready to fall in love with. Their foster reports that they are attached at the hip and therefore considered bonded. Here is a little bit about them: Delilah is the sweetest little girl with a gentle, affectionate personality and the softest big baby belly. She loves following you around, saying hello, making tiny biscuits on the rug, and curling up on you for cuddles throughout the day. She’s playful, too, and especially loves chasing her brother around the house. Junior is a curious, playful little guy with endless personality. He loves carrying around his toy mouse, gently holding your leg with his paw while you prepare his food, and standing up on his back two legs to assess what he should play with next. He’s also recently discovered the joy of grooming himself—and is now very proud to enthusiastically clean his sister. After his evening playtime, he becomes the biggest cuddle bug and crawls under your chest to curl up beneath your chin. Delilah and Ryan Jr. are a bonded pair. They can play together for hours, then somehow get tired at exactly the same time and curl up for a nap together before doing it all over again. Delilah is always ready to come running when her brother calls for her, and these two truly adore each other. They would love to find their forever home together.” To help keep Delilah and Ryan Junior together – their adoption fee is 2 for 1! Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week. Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
