DESCRIPTION
Meet Mulberry, a 4 month old female black cat. This kitten is ripe and ready to be picked by their adoptive family! Mulberry arrived with two other kitties, who we suspect are littermates. They could be adopted together but are not required to be. Although Mulberry has some history outdoors, a safe indoor only home would be safest moving forward for him (as well as our local wildlife).Mulberry may do well in a home with other animals with a slow, thoughtful introduction. Mulberry’s adoption fee is reduced by $20 thanks to the Bogey Fund – a fund that draws adopter’s eyes towards often overlooked black cats in Shelters. Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
