Mongo - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Saint Paul, Minnesota

Mongo and his mother Donut were abandoned outside by their previous owners. Donut was often left outside, un-spayed, and had several litters of kittens. Their owners moved and left them behind outside. A kind neighbor started feeding them and got in touch with Kitty Revolution. They are now fully vaccinated, fixed, and will always have full bellies and a warm place to sleep!

Donut is the courageous one of the duo. She is quick to explore and investigate her space. She likes to chase a wand toy, get pets, and purrs when she is happy. She is a polydactyl cat and will need regular nail trims to ensure nail health of her extra thumbs.

Mongo is more tentative and spent several days shaking like a leaf in his new surroundings. He will now play and explore, but isn't as brave as his mom. He is cautious but time will be your best friend in gaining his trust. He LOVES Donut. He wants to have her in his line of sight and makes the most adorable sounds when he sees her. He loves to cuddle with her and trusts her to show him things are ok.

Their foster parents can pick them up fairly easily to get them where they need to go, but so far they don't enjoy being held for the sake of it. Foster parents aren't sure if they will be lap cats, but wouldn't surprised if they turned out that way.

They are a bonded pair and need to be adopted together. Please fill out an application to meet them.
