Gingy is a chill boy. He loves eating, sleeping, looking out the window, watching the crazy antics of his fellow foster cats, and getting chin scratches (when you have earned his trust). He will occasionally play, swatting at a wand toy, but often is an observer.
He is extremely nervous and scared in new situations. He hid behind a chest in his foster room for several weeks, only coming out when humans left the room. He allowed pets but stayed frozen. Eventually, he figured out it was a safe space and would venture out. He now will greet his foster mom at the door and make precious meowing sounds for dinner. He purrs and enjoys gentle pets, but not for long. He needs someone who will be extremely patient with him and not overwhelm him.
Gingy came from Honduras with another foster named Moonie. They get along very well and would be great as a pair for someone looking to adopt two cats. Gingy gets along well with other cats and he cannot be adopted to a home with no other cats. He would not do well with young children who don't respect boundaries and are loud.
Gingy is in foster care. Apply to meet him.
