Meet Mac — aka “Big Mac Fat Cat”

Mac earned his nickname honestly: he’s the biggest kitten in his litter, with a personality that’s equal parts sweet, laid-back, and playful.

Mac came to us as part of a litter born to an abandoned mama cat. He has been handled and socialized since he was about one week old, and it shows. He is comfortable with adults and children and is one of the most easygoing kittens of the bunch.

Big Mac is generally a pretty chill guy, but don’t let that fool you. One of his favorite activities is finding a good hiding spot, waiting patiently for an unsuspecting sibling to walk by, and then launching a surprise kitten attack. He loves playing and wrestling with his littermates, then settling in when the excitement is over.

A Special Note About Mac

Mac does have an eye condition that will likely require surgery. He will be evaluated by an eye specialist, and we’ll know more about his long-term needs after that appointment. His future family should be prepared for the possibility that he may need some ongoing care, such as periodic eye ointment or other treatment.

Mac doesn’t seem to know there’s anything different about him. He’s still a happy, affectionate, playful kitten who keeps right up with his siblings.

We’re hoping to find Big Mac Fat Cat a family that sees his eye condition as just one small part of an otherwise wonderful little cat—and is ready to give this big, sweet boy the home he deserves.

Applicant qualifications:
-Must have an approved Adoption Application
-Must have a resident animal
-All resident animals must be up to date with age appropriate vaccines, and be spayed or neutered (if age appropriate)
-Kittens are very fragile. Children in household must be 8+ years of age.

This kitten will have received all age appropriate vaccines, and blood testing at time of adoption. A microchip will be provided at time of adoption for insertion at time of alter surgery.

Adoption Fee: $200 + a $125 fully refundable spay/neuter deposit, which is returned after adopter provides alter surgery medical records in accordance with Adoption Contract requirements (surgery must be performed within 30 days after the kitten turns 5 months of age).
