Her name comes from a Spanish word meaning “mercies.” I am a tabby and white kitten who was found under the hood on someone’s car engine, a Mercedes, which is how I got my name. The car's owner drove to Paws and Claws, and staff and volunteers worked hard to get me out safely. Being indoors where I am safe and well fed feels like luxury to me! I am an adorable girl who is quite shy in a new place. I feel most comfortable when I am in the cat cave bed in my kennel. After I feel secure with someone, I am my friendly, happy self, a girl who loves being petted. I rev my motor with lots of big purrs. I like to play too. I can’t wait for you to drive me home so I can be your little luxury kitten, your very own Mercedes!
