Sometimes an ember is all you need...I’m Ember, a pretty, 1-1/2-year old brown tabby girl who was released to Paws and Claws in early July because my person could not afford my medical care. I had a spay with a uterine infection in mid-July, and now I am feeling much better. I still feel more at ease staying in the litter box compartment of my kennel, but I like having people pet me while I’m in there. Guess what else I like...I enjoy eating canned food, and I’ll come out of my safe spot into the main part of my kennel to eat it. Then I’ll go back to my private spot again. One of these days, there will be a spark, and Ember will begin to glow longer and brighter. You’ll begin to appreciate the warmth and the beauty of a young tabby kitty called Ember.
