Axle - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Rochester, Minnesota

There’s axel, and there’s axle. The first axel is the skating jump with a turn and a half. Axle, - LE, is the rod that holds the wheels on your car. I’m Axle, a front-declawed tabby and white guy who was found behind the wheel of a car in a parking lot way back in 2012. Yeah, do the math. That makes me 14 years old. It would be a leap to say that my life has been a smooth ride. I’ve been adopted and returned a couple of times. I’ve had health issues along the way. Now I’m finding myself back here again because my person died, and the family brought me here because they can’t care for me. Yes, I do have some health concerns, so please, if you find it in your kind heart to want to adopt me, talk to an adoption counselor about me. I may have some issues, but the wheels haven’t fallen off yet! I’m an affectionate, sweet lap cat. I did well with a 7-year-old child, and when I had cat siblings, I did okay with them. Check with shelter folks about how I’m doing now. With proper introductions, I could do just fine. I’ve learned that life can be unpredictable. It gives you twists and turns. I’ve rolled with them so far, thanks to people who care. I hope there’s someone reading this who will care enough to help me keep on rolling as long as I can. I’m a “wheely” great guy, and I’d love to be your sweet, lovable Axle.
