Alexandre Dumas’s Aramis was based on a real person, Henri d'Aramitz, who was a nobleman, a lay abbot, and soldier. Whew! I’m glad I’m just a sweet tabby and white kitten named Aramis! My Musketeer brothers and I were born on business property in Red Wing and cared for by the owner. We were kenneled most of the time, but we got out for lots of playtime. We were becoming social and people friendly. We’re litter box trained, and we ate both wet and dry food. Until we came to the shelter, we had not seen a vet and had no contact with other cats. It would be fun to be the Three Musketeers, but it’s not required that we be adopted together. If you’re looking for a sweet, busy kitten, I’d love to be your noble boy, Aramis.
