Tony Tony Chopper has officially decided that "not today" is his life motto.

This little guy has survived it ALL, and after everything he has been through, we are determined to find him the very best home in the world.

Tony arrived at our rescue's front door when he was only a couple of days old. The kind person who found him didn't know that cow's milk is not safe for kittens and had been feeding it to Tony. Somehow, this tiny little guy said, "not today," and survived what could have been a devastating start.

Tony was always on the smaller side, and it's possible he may have been premature when he came to us, although we will never know for sure. He was bottle fed, grew stronger, and eventually weaned onto wet and dry food like a champ.

Then, seemingly out of nowhere, Tony became VERY sick.

What followed was countless catheters for IV fluids, numerous tests, and visits with not one, not two, but THREE different veterinarians. And somehow... everything came back normal. We never got a definitive answer for what caused his scary illness, but Tony once again looked at the universe and said, "not today." He fought through it and survived.

Today, Tony is seemingly a perfectly healthy, happy, normal kitten who is ready for his forever home. He does wonderfully with other cats and even dogs, but his favorite thing in the entire world is PEOPLE.

Tony is the kind of kitten who wants to be right beside you. He loves sleeping next to his person, making an absolutely ridiculous amount of biscuits, and purring basically 24/7. He is affectionate, loving, and so incredibly special.

Because of everything Tony has been through, we are looking for a truly committed forever family for him. He deserves a home that will keep up with his yearly veterinary checkups, take his health seriously, and most importantly, give him all the love and attention he has been waiting for.

Tony has already survived the impossible. Now he just needs the very best happily ever after.
