Lola - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Lola is officially looking for her forever home! This 13-year-old senior was found in one of our admins backyards, and we knew she deserved a safe and loving place to land.

Lola is a true companion cat—her favorite thing is simply sitting next to someone on the couch. She enjoys gentle head pets, but shes also a lady who knows what she likes. Lola can be crabby at times and will let you know (with a hiss) when she doesnt want to be touched, especially on her back or hips. Shes happiest with someone who respects her boundaries and appreciates her spunky personality. She would not do well with children, cats or dogs. She is extremely interested in what her foster is eating and always tries to involve herself when there is human food around.

Health-wise, Lola is doing well. She does have hyperthyroidism, which is managed with a small dose of transdermal medication rubbed into her ear once a day. She also needs to be the only pet in the home, as she doesnt like to share her space.
