Gracie - Tortoiseshell Cat for Adoption in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Gracie is an incredibly sweet 11 year-old girl who came to our rescue several months ago after someone made a post online about a half dead cat on their porch.

When we got to Gracie she had a large wound down to the tendon level that was infested with maggots, she was emaciated and dehydrated. This poor senior girl had been left outside to fend for herself in the heat of summer and was on the verge of death.

Thankfully due to veterinary care and dedicated bandage changes by her foster, her wound healed 100%. She has put on weight and is now ready for the next chapter in her life!

She's a darling girl who always looks up lovingly at her foster. As soon as you enter the room she comes over to greet you. She loves to lay on or beside her foster mom and be pet!

She's a wonderful companion who enjoys the simple pleasures of life - being safe indoors, a comfy bed, yummy food, and a human companion all of her own. She enjoys being queen of the castle and does not prefer to be around other cats or dogs.

Gracie is spayed, up to date on vaccines and is microchipped.
