Corn Dog - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Pikesville, Maryland

*** If you're interested in meeting Corn Dog, please see link at the end of his bio! ***

Goofy, gregarious Corn Dog and his friend (brother? son? who knows!) Hash Brown were rescued after they were abandoned together in southwest Baltimore City. (They're pictured together in the last photo, Corn Dog is the larger one. Hash Brown has already been adopted.)

He's your typical orange cat—very friendly and outgoing! He's super cuddly and affectionate, although he can sometimes get a little overstimulated when being petted, so would do best in a home without young kids. (12 and up should be OK as long as the kids are gentle with animals.)

He’s not a crazy-high-energy type, but does love to play and bat toys around. He also acts like he was probably an indoor/outdoor cat before—he likes to hang around the door hoping he can get out. He would love some outdoor time if you live in an area where it's safe for him to go out! But if not, some good window perches will suffice. He's been indoor-only since he was rescued in July.

He's estimated to be about 3 years old. He's now neutered, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV/FeLV and microchipped. He does seem to have a sensitive tummy and is currently on a prescription dry food that works well for him. .

Corn Dog can be fussy about his cat friends -- he does not seem to get along with other male cats. He *might* be OK with a female cat, but he probably would prefer to be the only cat in the home. However, he really seems to enjoy the company of dogs! He would love a home with a cat-friendly dog as a buddy.

Hash Brown is a really great cat who seems like he would thrive in just about any home, and after the rough start he got in life, he's ready to be someone's treasured best friend!

He's currently in a foster home in Mount Washington. If you have questions about him, email Erin, his foster mom, at eharty@gmail.com.
