Morticia - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Pikesville, Maryland

Morticia was part of a large (20+) group of kittens discovered living behind a Royal Farms—a house nearby has been allowing cats to breed unchecked and then putting the kittens outside. This is an ongoing large-scale rescue effort and we've been bringing the kittens inside in pairs and trios as we have foster homes available for them. Once Morticia gets adopted another kitten can be rescued and brought inside out of the cold to take her place!

Morticia came into foster several weeks ago with her sister, who has since been adopted. Although she can be a bit shy at first, she settles in quickly and is VERY cuddly and affectionate! She is estimated to be about 4-5 months old, and is started on her vaccinations and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. She will be spayed on Nov. 2 (but can go to a foster-to-adopt home before then).

She has had a little bit of exposure to dogs and has been living with a middle-school-aged boy in her foster home. (Very young children might be a bit much for her, but older kids should be fine.) She's super playful and needs to go to a home with another young cat as a playmate! She's being fostered in Sykesville in Carroll County, but can also come to Baltimore to meet potential adopters.

If you are interested in meeting Morticia, the first step is to fill out an adoption application, which is available here (you'll need to copy/paste the URL): https://bit.ly/pigtowncats .... if you have questions, feel free to email Erin at eharty@gmail.com.
