Birch is a handsome salt-and-pepper fur companion with a gentle and sweet nature. He enjoys the simple things in life, like lounging in a sunny window and watching the world go by.
He’s a big fan of food and treats (they’re definitely the way to his heart!) and loves spending time with his scratching pad. Once he feels comfortable, Birch shows his playful side and can be quite entertaining.
Birch can be a little reserved when meeting new people, so he’ll need a patient adopter who can give him time to settle in at his own pace. He’s also sensitive to loud noises, so a calm, quiet home would suit him best. Because of this, he would do best in a home without young children.
Birch gets along well with his foster-mate Oak so it would be ideal if they could be adopted together.
Would you like to make Birch and Oak a part of your family? Please complete our online application found at: www.avacats.org/adoption-application-form.
Our adoption fees cover vetting and include spay/neuter, vaccines (initial FVRCP and rabies), flea treatment, two dewormings and microchipping.
Adoption fees are $250 for each adult cat 1 year or older. Please note that fees may apply for additional required vaccinations (at $75 per booster) due prior to adoption. Total adoption fees will be confirmed by the AVA Adoption Coordinator.
