Mamita is a 3-year-old female Domestic Shorthair who came to ACCT Philly as a stray on 7/17/2026 with her five young kittens. She is a friendly, attentive mother who has been affectionate with staff, readily soliciting pets and allowing all handling of both herself and her kittens. Mamita is looking for a foster home where she and her family can decompress in a quiet, low-stress environment while she continues raising her kittens until they are old enough to be weaned and the family is ready for their next steps.

Staff noted on 7/21 "Mamita greeted staff at the front of her kennel upon approach and immediately solicited attention by rubbing against the front of the kennel and leaning into pets. She displayed affiliative behavior throughout the interaction and remained relaxed while being handled. Mamita allowed all handling of both herself and her kittens without displaying any signs of fear, stress, or aggression."
