Picasso - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Picture perfect Picasso is primed for the spotlight!

New Arrival -- Bio Coming Soon!

Picasso, along with his contempory peers Matisse and Van Gogh, came to PAWS after being trapped by the same caretaker. They all have also tested positive for FeLV, so they would need to live in a certain type of home that our adoptions staff would be more than happy to cover any questions about!

------------------------------------

This cat has tested positive for Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV), which is specific to the felines and is not transmissible to dogs, humans, or any other animals. Cats with FeLV can live normal, happy, healthy lives-but it weakens the immune system, causing a shorter life expectancy than cats without FeLV. At PAWS, we believe every pet deserves to live out their life in a loving home for whatever time they have. We hope you'll consider opening your home to this special kitty! FeLV can spread to other cats, so they should live in a cat-free home or with other FeLV+ cats. Our staff will be happy to tell you more about FeLV, and you can learn more about FeLV here: phillypaws.org/felv

FeLV+ adopters are also eligible for an Amazon gift card after adoption and this cat's adoption fee is waived!

This cat is currently located at PAWS Old City Adoption Center located at 100 North 2nd Street, Philadelphia, PA 19106. To ensure your best experience and best chance at meeting your new furry family member, we recommend completing the application ahead of your visit, which you can find at phillypaws.org/catapp.
