Norah - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Norah ACCT-A-259378 is a 1.5 month old male DSHA kitten found as a stray on 8/22/26. Unfortunately, little Norah is Panleukemia Positive and is febrile. He isn't interested in wet food but is very enthused about dry food and Temptations treats! He's weighing in at 1.6 pounds.

Norah has been treated with an antibiotic, fluids and eye medication. He needs urgent placement with a Rescue to continue further treatments due to his medical concerns.

NOTABLE MEDICAL FINDINGS:
8/22 Staff Noted:
Eyes -Left eye heavy brown eye discharge, both watery; Ears- Both oily; Teeth- Baby teeth, white;
Behavior- BAR, timid, hissing/spitting, swatting, used towel for physical and started purring loudly.

BEHAVIOR NOTES:
8/22 Staff Noted: Once settled in Panleuk, would hiss when reaching for but would allow me to handle and give fluids without issue. After the first syringe of slurry he started looking for the syringe and I brought the food closer and he started eating it on his own. Once pet a few times he would immediately purr and stayed still in his half purrito for the fluids -ADR

8/22 Staff Noted:
cat was acting feral, hissing and spitting, used a wash cloth to restrain and light scruff, would try to run every chance he could.
